3/2/2019 – 3/10/2019
The start of March has been a rough time for my goals. Last week was another travel week, so I was eating out every day and spending more. We didn’t use the same method of buying one meal for lunch and dinner like last time because we were often stuck in a place without access to food for lunch. If we got lunch, it was an early lunch where we wouldn’t eat for a long time or the opposite, where we would eat an extremely late lunch. Being pushed like that mentally, I fell back on eating more to satiate the hunger cravings. I tried to compensate by exercising more. In fact, I reached some personal bests in terms of pyramids. I can do 25 reps of pyramids now, up from 15. But even that did not overcome the calories I ate. Let’s look at the damage.
Weight Update

I ate a Qdoba burrito around 10PM before my redeye flight back home. I’m going to chalk that up to pretty substantial weight spike. I’m already coming back down and I have bought my groceries for the week. Back on healthy eating!
Exercise Update

I continued my routine of doing pyramids. Monday’s workout was a set of jump squats, pushups, and Russian twists which went up to 15 reps. Tuesday’s session was a set of squats, some kind of like weird inverse squat I was shown where you start crouching and push your butt out, and lunges up to 15 reps. Wednesday’s was Monday’s routine but up to 25 reps; however, I didn’t go all the way back down. I felt nauseous after the second 20 rep and didn’t want to push it further. However, I am gaining confidence that I can push my body again and I’m excited to be back home to do Muay Thai.
Budget Update

So it’s March 10th and I’m already over my budget. Not good. This does include a bunch of groceries that will be able to last me for a couple weeks but I already know that I’m going to travel again next week. I am not going to kill myself trying to make this budget but I am hoping that it will cause me to be more mindful and spend less than I otherwise would.
